As a demonstration of its commitment to environmental conservation and sustainable development, PT KB Finansia Multi Finance (the “Company”) carried out an Environmental Responsibility initiative by planting 400 productive plant seedlings valued at IDR29,000,000, in collaboration with the Ciwalen Park Land Forest Farmers Group (“Kelompok Tani Hutan - KTH”) in Sarongge Village, Cianjur Regency, West Java, on 12 November 2025. The implementation of this activity was supported by Kitabisa Foundation and the Green Initiative Foundation as program partner organizations.
KTH Ciwalen Park Land is a community-based forest farmer group that manages a community forest area under an official Decree issued by the Ministry of Environment and Forestry. The majority of its members rely on agricultural activities and the sustainable utilization of forest land as their primary source of income. Through this initiative, the Company supports the community’s efforts in preserving the environment while simultaneously enhancing the productivity of the land under their management.
The planting of productive seedlings is expected to deliver long-term benefits. From an environmental perspective, the initiative is anticipated to contribute to improved soil quality, increased carbon sequestration, and broader landscape reforestation. From a socio-economic perspective, the program is expected to enhance the welfare of the farmer group members and the surrounding community.
Going forward, the Company will continue to develop and implement various environmental responsibility initiatives as part of its tangible contribution to environmental conservation and community empowerment.
